Sunday 2 June is Cancer Survivors Day.
It's a poignant celebration of life where people across the world stand in solidarity with anyone living with a history of cancer.
Held every year on the first Sunday in June, it is also a call to action for further research, more resources, and increased public awareness to improve the lives of cancer survivors.
We strive to put people affected by cancer at the forefront of everything we do, so spoke to Mason, Shannon and Sara, all of whom have been supported by Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.
They all told us exactly what the concept of survivorship means to them.
