Assessing and supervising SACT learners
This online module will provide you with the knowledge and skills to supervise your staff and assess their competence in systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) practice, including understanding the SACT passport, how to assess and develop learning, completing the passport and recording results on the electronic staff record.
Immune Effector Cell (IEC) therapy
IEC therapy uses the patient’s own or donor T-lymphocytes to enhance anti-tumour activity which are then re-infused back into the patient. The ultimate objective of the process is the stimulation and expansion of potent and antigen-specific T-cell immunity. All nurses looking after IEC therapy patients on the wards must have appropriate training. This module provides an overview of everything you need to know to safely care for patients undergoing IEC therapy.
Level 2 acute oncology
This online module will provide you with knowledge and skills to provide care to people suspected of having an acute oncology indication. This online module will enable you to understand non-metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) in the context of clinical management of prostate cancer; to discuss the evidence supporting the latest management options in this setting; and to look at the practicalities of prescribing and supervising these treatments.
